Clay fuller: Read the facts

GA-14 Special Election Runoff — April 7, 2026

The Bottom Line Clay Fuller says he’s America First. His FEC filings tell a different story.

His “Investment Firm”

Has No Investments. Fuller co-founded Atticus Impact Investing in 2019. After six years: zero documented investments and zero portfolio companies.

His Campaign Manager Was Arrested for Kicking a Dog.

Three GOP operatives told the Daily Mail that Fuller’s campaign is run by Brandon Phillips — arrested in 2022 for animal cruelty and previously forced off Trump’s own Georgia campaign in 2016 over his criminal record.

Voters Already Said No.

In 2020, Fuller ran for this same seat and finished fourth with 6.8%. He spent $342K — more than double what he raised. 93% of Republican voters chose someone else.

His First Dollar Went to a Democrat.

Fuller’s first-ever political donation was $250 to Democrat James Mackler (TN Senate, 2017) — a candidate who campaigned with the Giffords gun control organization. Fuller’s own website doesn’t mention the Second Amendment. The NRA gave him only an AQ rating. Three Times Trump Picked a Candidate.

Three Times Fuller Backed the Other Guy.

FEC records confirm Fuller donated $2,900 to Latham Saddler (vs. Trump-endorsed Herschel Walker), $500 to Kent Keirsey (vs. Trump-endorsed BoHines), and $521 to Philip Singleton (vs. Trump-endorsed Brian Jack). The Fuller family gave a combined $6,700 to defeat Herschel Walker.

He Quit as DA With a Police Brutality Case on His Desk.

Fuller resigned on January 12, 2026, leaving the felony prosecution of a former officer who beat a handcuffed suspect unresolved. As of March 2026, the case still hasn’t gone to trial.

Out-Raised 5-to-1 and $300K in Debt to Himself.

Opponent Shawn Harris has raised $4.3M (81% small-dollar). Fuller has $787K — and $300,000 of that is a personal loan. On a DA salary of ~$110K–$130K, the source of that cash is unexplained. In 2020, he loaned his campaign $215K and never got it back.

Don’t take his word for it. Check the receipts.
